Our goal is to produce the best quality dogs using carefully selected breeding stock for temperament and health. Raising our puppies using Puppy Culture rearing methods in our home with our children and other animals. We are a independent ethical breeding program and are responsible for any dog we produce for the rest of its life. All of our puppies are microchipped and registered with our contact information so if they ever need us we will be there. The dog parents (Newt and Sophie) are family members that live and travel with us having their best life. We have performed DNA, PennHIP, and OFA testing on all of our breeding dogs. Our puppies are DNA and temperament tested before pairing to their forever homes so that we can find the best match for each family and puppy.
We are located in Chittenango New York
Seeing is believing! I try to document all of the work we put into the puppies so that their future families can be there for the whole journey these are some of the videos from our past litter.
As a groomer over the past 10 years, I have seen the growing popularity of poodle mixes. I have also heard the words “Don’t make them look like a poodle” come out of almost every doodle owner’s mouth. Unfortunately, in order to minimize the shedding, many doodle breeders are crossing back to poodles so much so that many of these dogs are 75-100% poodle genetically. Poodles themselves are great dogs, but they do look like poodles no matter how you trim them. I love Newfoundland dogs particularly the Lanseer, but they are too big for my house. I don’t want a drooly dog, and I don’t want to deal with the brushing and shedding, and the short life expectancy.
When I got my first Newfypoo, Newt. I had some pretty high expectations of what I wanted out of this mix. Out of the thousands of dogs that I have worked with, he was the best dog I have ever met. I never considered breeding until I met Newt. I started researching breeding and looking for a female.
Six months later I found Sophie. My husband had not known that I was seriously looking for a match for Newt. So he was a bit surprised when I said “We are Zooming with a breeder to look at puppies tonight.”
Fast forward to now, they have cleared DNA testing, PennHIP, and OFA elbows and we are cleared to make puppies.
My long term goal is to make a stabilized breed that combines characteristics from the Newfoundland and Poodle to create a wonderful family companion.
